Title: Pepper Skins
Length: 2:12
Today we're going to cook a simple and nutritious vegetable side dish or a snack using "Fresh From Florida" products.
Today's recipe is called "pepper skins". And what we're going to do is use Florida bell peppers and cut little bowls out of them and stuff them with other "Fresh From Florida" ingredients. Then they're going to go in the oven for about 20 minutes.
New let's add our ingredients to the peppers. We'll start with bacon bits. We'll put a little bit of bacon bits on each of our peppers.
Next comes the chopped spinach. Make sure you get all the ingredients nice and even.
Next our chopped tomatoes. Get those spread nice and good on the pepper.
And we'll top the whole thing off with some grated cheddar cheese.
Remember, when you're using this recipe you can add whatever ingredients you want. Add your favorite, be creative, you don't have to follow the recipe to the letter.
Once we have all our peppers stuffed, we're going to put them on a baking pan, put them in the oven at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
OK, now let's check the oven and see how our peppers are doing. Oh, look at that. Doesn't that look nice? Pepper skins, "Fresh From Florida".
OK, let's take our skins and put them on a plate. We'll make a nice presentation out of them. We'll use one of each color.
Now we can take some more little pieces of pepper that I've cut in small triangles and put a toothpick on it to make a cute little sail to go on to our pepper skins.
Very attractive and fun dish! A vegetable side dish or snack for children or adults. So now we have a healthy and nutritious snack or vegetable side dish made with "Fresh From Florida" products.
